چکیده

Geographic Information Systems and remote sensing, have proved to be efficient tools in delineation of drainage pattern different geometric methodology geomorphologic, watershed management even GIS has been widely used several flood management, environmental applications. The river Beki with an area 19,354.35 sq.km2 originates at Himalayan glacier (Kula Kangri Bhutan) 26.18° N latitudes 90.53° E longitudes flows though the plains Assam finally mighty Brahmaputra 26.48° 91.02° selected for detailed morphometric analysis. Morphometric parameters via; Stream order, length, Bifurcation ratio, Drainage density, frequency, texture, Form factor, Circularity Elongation ratio Compactness etc. were measured prioritization compound parameter values calculated. This study will help local people utilize resources right manner Sustainable Water Resource Development Basin area. Moreover, can also referred as a benchmark studies on temporal change geomorphology due climate change. Different analysis provides explanation physical characteristics which are useful areas land use planning, soil conservation, terrain elevation erosion.
